Fort Myers City Council approved a pilot program that raises free parking from one hour to two hours at the City of Palms Garage, Main Street Garage, and Luminary Hotel Garage. Under the temporary rate structure, the third hour costs $3, each additional hour adds $1, the daily max is $10, and the evening rate after 5 p.m. is $5.
