What happened?
WINK reports that LCSO announced more than 100 arrests in Operation White Tide, a multi-investigation narcotics effort across Lee County. The sheriff’s office reported seizures including 1,780 grams of fentanyl, 4 kilos of cocaine, 4 pounds of methamphetamine, 45 pounds of marijuana, 51 firearms and more than $121,000 in cash. Sheriff Carmine Marceno also used the announcement to defend narcotics-unit funding and said some investigations remain active.
