What happened?

Gulf Coast News Now reports a Cape Coral woman, Kamani Cash, 19, is in custody after Lee County deputies say a confrontation at a North Fort Myers 7-Eleven turned into a frightening road incident involving an SUV carrying four children.

According to the reported arrest details, the victim told deputies she saw Cash at the gas station, tried to leave, and then noticed Cash following her in a Chevy Malibu. Deputies say the victim stopped at a red light near North Tamiami Trail and Bayshore Road when Cash deliberately hit her vehicle.

The part that makes this one hard to ignore

Deputies say the victim turned around, stopped at another red light, and was hit a second time. After that second collision, a passenger in Cash’s car allegedly got out and threw a brick at the passenger side of the victim’s windshield, shattering part of it.

The four children were reportedly inside the victim’s vehicle during the entire incident.

Charges reported

Gulf Coast News Now says Cash turned herself in at the Lee County Jail. Reported charges include aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, four counts of child abuse, and throwing a missile into a dwelling, vehicle, or aircraft.
