What happened?
Gulf Coast News reports Lee and Charlotte sheriff’s offices announced an arrest in a March Peace River death investigation after a body was found wrapped in bedding and weighted with cinder blocks and chains. Investigators said Joshua Cullen of North Fort Myers later reported his mother missing, but deputies found inconsistencies and concluded she died inside the home without medical care. Authorities say Cullen then wrapped the body, moved it in a carpet, and dumped it in the water, where fishermen found it on March 29.
